The animals selected for meat have been humanely raised in a state-of-the-art facility on a balanced ration with plenty of fresh water and free access to the outside. 

Animals are processed in a state-inspected facility if the end product will be sold in Wisconsin and in a Federally inspected facility if the end product will be sold to other states.
