I N G R E D I E N T S
1 lb ground goat meat
1 medium onion
4 stalks celery
2 cans red kidney beans
1/2 cup elbow macaroni
1 quart canned tomatoes
1/2 tsp salt ( I always go light on the salt you may want more)
1 tsp chili powder ( you may want more, season to taste)
Goat raw cheddar for a garnish ( or smoother the top of your serving with cheese)
D I R E C T I O N S
- Brown ground goat meat in a frying pan on your stove.
- Cut your onion and celery and cook with the meat. When the meat is browned put the mixture into a crock pot. (If there is excess grease, spoon off. Usually there is only about a tablespoon as the goat meat is very lean).
- Add kidney beans, macaroni, and tomatoes. Season to your liking adding the salt and chili powder.
- Chili is done when the macaroni is cooked.
- When serving top each bowl or cup with goat raw cheddar.
- Serve with your favorite roll topped with goat butter. The beverage of choice is a nice tall glass of goat milk.
